Downs Stars could play Lions

The British and Irish Lions Rugby Union team will embark on a nine-match tour of Australia in mid-2013 which includes playing a game against a combined Qld Country and NSW Country team in Newcastle. This could prove a huge motivating factor for some of our local stars to step up to the plate. The potential first step in this process, the launch of the Darling Downs representative season, will be held at USQ next Saturday, 10 December, 2012.Click here to read more about this article
